Submissions

DEAR AUTHORS AND AGENTS:

As an independent book publisher, we consider manuscripts for picture books, chapter books, middle-grade novels, young adult novels, and adult fiction and nonfiction.

Please submit the following to margieblumberg@mbpublishing.com and write "Submission" on the subject line:

  • Picture books, chapter books, novels, and nonfiction: Kindly submit the entire manuscript.

  • A description of the book: Provide one or two paragraphs explaining the premise of your book.

  • Biography: Please provide a brief author biography.

  • A list of similar books: Please include the publisher, the author(s), and the publication date for each title. Briefly explain how your manuscript is similar to and different from these other titles.

    We look forward to reading your work!

NOTE: If we're interested in discussing publication, we will be in touch with you within two weeks from the date that you submit your work to us.
